Ready or not, here comes 2017! Whenever a new year rolls around it’s perfect time to look at how life’s been going and perhaps do some fine-tuning on the life goals. We’re sharing 5 resolutions for both you and your dog to work on achieving together!
A Healthier Diet – Whether you have two legs or four, eating a diet that’s not loaded with preservatives, tons of carbs like corn and wheat, and unhealthy kinds of fat makes lots of sense. Studies done on dogs and people alike all point to longer lifespans for people and pups who eat well.
More Pavement Pounding – Whether it’s a walk around the block, a hike in the woods, or some laps around the track, dogs and people feel better with plenty of exercise. Chances are you and your dog would feel a lot less stressed and tired if the day began and ended with some good old fashioned heart pumping exercise. Here’s to an extra lap or two around the block each day!
Checking In With The MD and DVM – If it’s been more than a year since you or your pup have gotten an annual physical, you’re overdue! People and dogs need to check in with their doctors each year to make sure things are going well. Catching problems early can extend both human and canine lives significantly. So go ahead and schedule a annual physical for you and your best friend at the same time.
